Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress, expressed strong support for former President Donald Trump's policies and actions in a series of tweets on April 29, 2025. Steube, who has been serving in Congress since 2019 after taking over from Tom Rooney, is known for his staunch advocacy for American conservative policies.

In a tweet posted at 14:31 UTC on April 29, 2025, Steube stated, "They laughed. They doubted. They lied. But President Trump DELIVERED. The border is secure. DEI is DEAD. Women’s sports are protected. This is what fighting for America looks like. And we’re just getting started."

Later the same day, Steube made further remarks in a tweet posted at 17:28 UTC. He wrote, "Joe Biden invited the invasion. President Trump stopped it. Illegal crossings are down 94%, the border is finally under control, and lawless sanctuary cities are DONE. America First is BACK. President Trump is delivering. No more open borders. No more excuses. Americans are."

Continuing the discourse on border security, Steube tweeted again at 18:26 UTC, "Biden’s open-border policies flooded our communities with criminal illegal aliens. We need all boots on the ground to restore law and order to America. Today, I sent a letter to every police chief in Florida’s 17th District urging them to enroll in ICE’s 287(g) program."

Beyond his active legislative role, Rep. Steube, 44, known for his background in law from the University of Florida, has positioned himself as a vocal advocate for stringent immigration policies and prioritizing national security.
