Congressman Greg Steube, who has represented Florida’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared his views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Having been born in Bradenton, Florida in 1978 and currently residing in Sarasota, Steube has a background in law with both a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida.

On April 22, 2025, Steube echoed sentiments shared by another individual, @DNIGabbard, regarding classified intelligence matters. He stated, "Absolutely right, @DNIGabbard. Twisting classified intel to smear President Trump is a blatant abuse of power, and sabotage of our institutions. This leak was illegal and crafted to deceive, not inform."

Later that day, Steube criticized the priorities of the Democratic Party in a tweet, mentioning their stance on protecting Americans and supporting the Border Patrol. He accused them of traveling to El Salvador to support a gang member, stating, "Democrat priorities: Protecting Americans? Supporting Border Patrol? Flying to El Salvador to support a wife-beating MS-13 gang member? "

On April 23, 2025, Steube expressed concern over reliance on foreign production for essential medications, specifically mentioning Communist China. He mentioned President Trump’s trade policies, asserting, "Americans should never rely on Communist China for the lifesaving drugs they need. Thanks to President Trump’s tough stance on trade, patients can rest assured their medications will be produced right here in the United States. This is what it means to put America first."

Steube has been a consistent voice in U.S. political discourse, with a background as a former member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. His educational credentials include a BS and a JD from the University of Florida, making him a legislator with a solid foundation in law and governance.
