Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida’s 17th district, has made recent posts on social media addressing local law enforcement, voting legislation, and foreign policy concerns. His tweets highlight matters regarding a newly sworn-in sheriff’s deputy, measures to secure election integrity, and the designation of foreign terror groups.

On March 30, Steube acknowledged the swearing-in of Devarjaye "DJ" Daniel at a Florida sheriff's office, expressing gratitude to Sheriff Judd for the recognition. He described DJ as “the latest of Florida’s finest.” "Devarjaye 'DJ' Daniel sworn-in at Florida sheriff's office".

On March 31, Steube commented on the opposition faced by a proposed bill meant to prevent non-citizens from voting. The GOP introduced the SAVE Act, requiring proof of U.S. citizenship and aiming to enhance election security. Steube emphasized that House Republicans are prioritizing American interests with this initiative. "Democrats say they want to “protect democracy”; but they’re fighting a bill that stops non-citizens from voting."

On April 1, Steube addressed issues surrounding Iran’s terror proxies, citing their involvement in attacks against American forces and facilities in Jordan and Iraq. He criticized the State Department for not officially recognizing these militias as terrorist entities and announced a bill that would aim to rectify this. "Iran’s terror proxies have: Killed American troops in Jordan, Attacked our forces in Iraq, Stormed our embassy in Baghdad."
