Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida’s 17th district, shared his perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets on February 13, 2025. The tweets addressed concerns about FEMA's financial management, introduced legislation related to telehealth services, and expressed gratitude for former President Trump's trade policies.

On February 13, 2025, Congressman Steube criticized FEMA's financial practices. He stated that "FEMA is out of control—wasting billions while Floridians are still needing help after Debbie, Helene, and Milton." He highlighted specific figures from a 2023 audit: "$10B mismanaged COVID relief—wasted by FEMA," "$8.1B in questionable spending—on costs 'yet to be determined allowable,'" and "$7B lost—FEMA agents…"

Later the same day, he announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at telehealth providers. In his tweet at 19:19 UTC, Steube declared: "I just introduced the Women’s Protection in Telehealth Act to prevent taxpayer dollars from subsidizing providers who prescribe abortion-inducing drugs without in-person medical oversight." The bill aims to exclude such providers from Medicare permanently.

In another post made at 20:03 UTC, Congressman Steube expressed appreciation for former President Donald Trump’s trade policies. He wrote: "I thank President Trump for standing up for American workers with his bold plan to restore balance and fairness to the marketplace." He praised Trump's administration for understanding that American workers deserve fair trade policies.
