Congressman Greg Steube, who represents Florida's 17th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of tweets expressing his views on various issues. These tweets highlight his positions on military funding and accountability in federal spending.

On February 10, 2025, Congressman Steube tweeted about changes to military funding priorities. He stated, "Say goodbye to taxpayer-funded drag shows, and hello to making our military strong again!"

Later that day, he commented on a controversial transaction involving FEMA officials. In his tweet, he declared, "Every FEMA official involved in this transaction should immediately be fired. Housing criminals in luxury hotels while Americans are still recovering from hurricanes Debby, Milton, and Helene demonstrates that Democrats and the deep state care more about illegals than disaster..."

On February 11, 2025, Congressman Steube acknowledged the actions of the new FEMA Director regarding accountability measures. He tweeted, "Thank you to the new FEMA Director for taking decisive action to fire employees who misused taxpayer dollars on luxury hotels for illegal migrants in NYC. Accountability matters—every misused dollar is a dollar taken from Americans in need."
