City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Jan. 23.
Let's all do our part to protect our environment by making sure our pet waste goes into the TRASH and not the toilet. Bagging waste keeps it from washing into our surface water resources and keeps our drinking water clean.
By putting it in the trash can, you also avoid costly overflows and potential lift station failures that can cause both you and the City expensive plumbing issues. #TrashTheBags #ProtectOurEnvironment
