City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
Families in need of safety items such as bicycle helmets, car seats or pack-n-plays are invited to North Port Fire Rescue and Suncoast Safe Kids Coalition's Safety Items Giveaway on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Port Fire Rescue’s Station 81 on City Center Boulevard.
Safety items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Staff will also be providing child car seat checks to insure proper installation. For more information, please contact Brian Gorski, Division Chief, at 941-240-8155.
