City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Nov. 11.
As debris collection ramps back up today, crews will be focusing on construction and demolition (C&D) debris over the next few days. With the rain from Tropical Storm Nicole, the vegetative debris sites will be temporarily closed to allow the ground some time to dry to prevent trucks from getting stuck.
To see where debris crews are working, view our debris pickup map at NorthPortFL.gov/DebrisMap. This map is now color-coded to indicate the debris type at each collection site.
