City Of Sarasota issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
REMINDER: Residential pickup for storm-related construction and demolition (C & D) debris starts Monday, Oct. 31 for City of Sarasota residents.
C & D includes: All fencing, roofing, gutters, aluminum siding and other building materials. Questions on what will be collected? Call our Storm Debris Hotline: 941-584-9533.
Just one pass is scheduled for C & D, so please make sure these materials are curbside when collection operations begin Monday.
Other reminders:
Vegetative storm debris will continue to be picked up. Please separate storm debris from regular yard waste.
Bag regular yard waste or place it in a container separate from storm debris.
Place debris piles and yard waste at least five feet from debris piles and yards waste
