City Of Sarasota issued the following announcement on Oct. 13.

Our Parks and Recreation Department is planning lots of festive fall fun - with something for everyone! 

In addition to other fall events, Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex will be holding their Haunted Trail Carnival on Friday, October 21, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. (Event link: https://fb.me/e/2euI6kWwK

This is a free event geared towards families that will feature games, crafts, and trick-or-treating along the parks half-mile walking trail. Community Vendors are invited to sponsor a booth to promote their organization, pass out treats, and provide a family-friendly activity. The Robert L. Taylor Community Complex (RLTCC) is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat event, in partnership with the Sarasota Police Department and the Amaryllis Park Neighborhood Association, on Wednesday, October 26, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. (Event link: https://fb.me/e/2czOUxGyw) Kids of all ages will enjoy a safe and spooky evening filled with fun, games, and candy! 

Want to join in the fun? RLTCC is seeking volunteers to decorate their vehicles and pass out candy to the kids. Open to individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
