City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Oct. 01.
We are so thankful to have the help of the Florida National Guard as part of our emergency response. They have provided crucial assistance helping our emergency personnel and other organizations evacuate residents from flood-impacted neighborhoods; while ensuring our community is safe.
