Sarasota Review

Of the 1,907 people living in Desoto Lakes in 2020, 54.5 percent (1,040) were women and 45.5 percent (867) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Sarasota Review.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 12. In the 65 and over age range, there were 173 females and 110 males.
