County Of Sarasota issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
It’s been another busy year for Sarasota County Emergency Services! New fire stations, continued response to COVID-19 and helping the community stay informed and prepared for hurricane season just scrapes the surface of all the work staff put in during 2021.
Emergency Services director Rich Collins shared a few more highlights from the last year and what the department is looking forward to in the coming year.
