Turkey Trot for the Twig is back in-person this year and it is still all about the Kids!! The event is to benefit children in the foster care system and the programs of The Twig Cares.
A great morning event with something for everyone! Chip-timed 5K with awards. One mile fun run. And a great post-race celebration including a hot breakfast from Sharky's on the Pier, Smoothies from Smoothie King, & post run beer from Three Bridges Brewing(for those over 21).
Your 5K race swag includes:
Custom Twig Turkey Trot finisher medal for ALL 5K finishers!
Custom Race Bib
Custom Short-Sleeve Race Shirt. Or upgrade and choose a long-sleeve or ladies' tank style shirt for just $5 more.
One Mile registration does not automatically include a shirt. You can add the shirt of your choice during registration for a nominal additional fee.
Shirt deadline: October 31st. After this date, shirt or sizes are not guaranteed.

Packet Pickup will be at The Twig (826 Pinebrook Rd. Venice, FL 34285) on Thursday 11/18 from 4-7pm.
***The Turkey Trot for the Twig is a fund-raising event to benefit children in the foster care system and the programs of The Twig Cares. No refunds will be given. If the "live" 5K and Fun Run events are not able to be held due to circumstances beyond the control of the race organizer, your race registration will be changed to a "Virtual" event and your race packet will be available for pick up locally at times and locations to be determined. If you are unable to pick up your race swag, it will be mailed to the shipping address that was provided during registration.***
COVID precautions:
Please follow CDC guidelines during the event:
-Stay home if you are sick
-Social distance before and after the race
-Cover your cough or sneeze with your elbow
-Wash your hands with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
