City of Sarasota issued the following announcement on Dec. 2
Starting Monday, December 7, 2020, the City of Sarasota Parks & Recreation District’s Payne Park Tennis Center will extend their Monday - Thursday, evening hours.
In response to tennis patrons’ requests, the Center will be open an extra half hour from Monday through Thursday. Originally closing time was 7:30 p.m. The new closing time will be 8:00 p.m. which gives players time to finish that end-of-day match. Friday hours remain the same, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
New facility hours, starting on December 7, 2020, will be Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

- Face covering required when entering/leaving facility.
