Congressman Greg Steube, a U.S. Representative from Florida, posted a series of tweets on October 19, 2025, addressing recent events involving Charlie Kirk and making a comment about Billy Napier.

In a tweet posted at 00:23 UTC, Steube wrote, "Can we motion to vacate Billy Napier?" on October 19, 2025.

Later that day at 00:59 UTC, Steube addressed Charlie Kirk directly in a tweet: ".@charliekirk11, your race is finished, your fight won. Well done, good and faithful servant. But for the rest of us, the battle has just begun. Let us be fearless, let us be faithful, for the glory of God and the soul of America."

At 16:22 UTC on the same day, Steube reflected on Kirk's death with another post: "When a bullet silenced Charlie Kirk's earthly voice, it wasn't just an act of political violence. It was a strike from the pit of hell, an attempt to martyr the messenger because the message was too dangerous. But Charlie's death did not dim the light. It ignited it. Watch my"

Charlie Kirk was a prominent conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA. The tweets from Steube reference Kirk's recent death by gunfire and frame it as an act of political violence.

Billy Napier is known as the head football coach at the University of Florida.
