City of North Port issued the following announcement on March 12
UPDATE: Our Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event scheduled for this Saturday, March 14th, has been postponed to a later date due to the Coronavirus. As soon as a new date is set, we will let you know.
This event has grown and a large crowd was anticipated. Debris is handled between 500+ cars in a short time-span. This is a precautionary measure taken for the safety of our residents and staff. We are continuing to monitor the situation. Please keep an eye on our social media for the latest updates.
