City of Venice issued the following announcement on Feb. 7
The City of Venice will have a contractor, BLD Services, perform utility pipe rehabilitation by lining the wastewater services in some areas of the East Gate neighborhood, including properties on Cypress Ave. and Groveland Ave.
The project will begin Monday, Feb. 10, and continue for approximately 1 week. The contractor will be notifying residents as workers progress to each property.
During this time, motorists should expect temporary lane closures with detours and access to local traffic only.
