Congressman Greg Steube, who represents Florida's 17th congressional district, recently used his social media platform to comment on national and international issues, as well as to promote a local event for students in his district.
On July 25, 2025, Steube expressed support for former President Donald Trump’s approach to foreign policy. In his post he stated: "Grateful to have a Commander in Chief who doesn’t cater to Hamas’ demands. The French could learn a thing or two from President Trump about peace through strength."
The following day, on July 26, 2025, Steube commented on the expectations of voters regarding legislative action. He wrote: "President Trump got a mandate from the American people. If my colleagues in Congress think sitting on their hands and doing nothing will help their chances in the midterms, they’re wrong.

Later that same day, Steube promoted an upcoming event aimed at students interested in military service academies: "REMINDER! This Tuesday, my office is hosting a U.S. Service Academy Fair in Sarasota. Students from Florida’s 17th District who are interested in applying for a nomination to one of America’s five military academies are welcome to come and meet with representatives from the U.S."
