Congressman Greg Steube, a Republican representing Florida's 17th district, shared several posts on July 16, 2025, highlighting his recent activities and opinions on political developments in Washington, D.C.

In a post from July 16, Steube recapped his participation in the Republican Study Committee’s New Media Row event. Later that day, Steube commented on local politics in Washington, D.C., referencing an incident involving a city council member: "Only in DC can a politician get kicked off the city council for taking bribes and then reelected before facing trial.
