On July 9, 2025, Congressman Steube commented on President Biden's doctor, stating that "Biden’s doctor is pleading the fifth, which tells you everything you need to know." He emphasized the need for continued pressure until those responsible for what he perceives as a cover-up are held accountable.
The following day, July 10, 2025, Steube addressed potential legal issues involving Democrat officials. He tweeted that "If Democrat officials are intentionally and willfully obstructing justice, @AGPamBondi should investigate them immediately." He also mentioned an increase in attacks on ICE officers by 700%, attributing this rise to "the Democrats’ dangerous rhetoric."
Later that same day, Steube discussed revelations concerning USAID. In his tweet he stated: "These revelations are exactly why I filed a bill to abolish USAID, and why President Trump was right to dismantle it." He claimed that USAID had been shipping viral samples to a Wuhan lab without an official agreement.
