Sarasota High School standout Abbey Johns’ college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Friday, March 7

On Friday, March 7, former Sarasota High School standout Abbey Johns’ current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Liberty Hilltoppers.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Hilltoppers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Adelphi Panthers.
