Friday, Feb. 14: Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School standout Caity Patterson’s college team wins to Illinois State Redbirds

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School standout Caity Patterson’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Nancy Almaraz Field. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 7:05 p.m. at Felsberg Field at the FIU Softball Stadium against Saint Francis Red Flash.
