Friday, Feb. 14: Riverview High School standout Cooper Backman’s college team wins to Mars Hill Mountain Lions

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Riverview High School standout Cooper Backman’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mars Hill Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium against Mars Hill Mountain Lions.
