On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Riverview High School standout Kyle Hawkins’ current college team, the Claflin Panthers, lost 7-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Miles Golden Bears.

The game took place at Rickwood Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 8:30 a.m. at Rickwood Field against Southern-New Orleans Knights.
