Congressman Greg Steube, who has been serving Florida’s 17th district since 2019, recently shared his perspectives on various issues through social media posts. Steube succeeded Tom Rooney in the U.S. Congress and has previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016.

On June 2, 2025, Congressman Steube expressed his concerns regarding gender participation in sports. He stated, "Absolutely ridiculous that this is still happening in our country. Thanks to these brave, courageous women for fighting for truth and against the lie that men belong in women’s sports." The post reflects his support for women's rights in athletic competitions.

The following day, on June 3, Steube tweeted about religious symbolism and morality. He wrote, "Lets make the Rainbow Godly Again! Evil loves to pervert the Truth. Genesis 9-17, Ezekiel 1:28". This message highlights his viewpoint on religious values and their representation.

Later on June 3, he addressed immigration and national security issues. His tweet read: "Biden’s open borders handed a terrorist the keys to our country. The Free Palestine movement fuels antisemitism, normalizes violence, and has unleashed terror in our neighborhoods. The Democrats imported this threat. We must crush it with mass deportations IMMEDIATELY." In this statement, he criticized current border policies and emphasized immediate action against perceived threats.

Born in Bradenton, Florida in 1978 and currently residing in Sarasota, Steube graduated from the University of Florida with a BS degree in 2000 followed by a JD degree in 2003.
