Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida’s 17th district since 2019, recently shared his views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Steube, who succeeded Tom Rooney in Congress and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, has been vocal about fiscal policy, antisemitism, and national security concerns.

On June 1, 2025, Congressman Steube expressed urgency for legislative action by stating that "We in Congress need to pass the DOGE cuts and codify Trump’s EOs immediately." He emphasized the necessity of substantial budget cuts to achieve a balanced budget for America.

In another tweet dated June 2, 2025, Steube addressed rising antisemitism. He remarked that "The Left has normalized antisemitism." He called for measures to protect Jewish Americans and suggested defunding entities that propagate hate.

Later on June 2, he highlighted concerns regarding national security threats posed by foreign nationals linked to China. Steube tweeted that "We are a free and open country for our citizens," while criticizing the exploitation of academic institutions by individuals associated with the Chinese Communist Party.

Steube was born in Bradenton, Florida in 1978 and resides in Sarasota. He holds degrees from the University of Florida—a BS obtained in 2000 and a JD earned in 2003.
