Congressman Greg Steube, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 17th District since 2019, shared a series of tweets expressing his support for law enforcement and military personnel. These messages were posted on May 16 and May 17, 2025.

On May 16, Congressman Steube shared a link with the message "More here: https://t.co/1btRrEc1ss".

Later that day, he posted about National Police Week, highlighting visits made by his district team to law enforcement offices across Florida’s 17th District. In his tweet, Steube stated: "This National Police Week, while I was in Washington, my district team visited law enforcement offices across Florida’s 17th District in Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee counties to thank the brave men and women who keep our communities safe."

On May 17, Congressman Steube commemorated Armed Forces Day by acknowledging the service of military personnel. He tweeted: "Today and every day, we honor the brave men and women who answered the call to serve our nation. On Armed Forces Day, we thank all who wear the uniform of the United States with courage and pride."

Congressman Greg Steube was born in Bradenton, Florida in 1978 and currently resides in Sarasota. He holds degrees from the University of Florida where he earned a BS in 2000 and a JD in 2003.
