Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida’s 17th district, has recently shared his views on social media regarding various political figures and issues. In a series of tweets posted on May 16, 2025, Steube expressed criticism towards former FBI Director Jim Comey and the current administration's foreign policy.

In one tweet from May 16, 2025, Steube stated "Jim Comey has built quite the rap sheet." He further accused Comey of "inciting the assassination of a President" and listed several other allegations including "Lying to Congress," "Leaking classified memos," "Illegally surveilling the Trump campaign," "Covering for Hillary Clinton," and "Weaponizing."

Later that day, Steube addressed the FBI directly in another post. He wrote ".@FBI come get your boy", accompanied by links to additional content.

In another tweet on May 16, 2025, Steube commented on international relations with Iran. He remarked "While Iran was enriching uranium and funding terror, Biden was sunbathing his presidency away on Rehoboth Beach." He added that with President Trump back in office, Iran is now willing to engage in talks. Steube concluded by asserting that "Peace through strength works, and the world knows it."

Greg Steube has served in Congress since replacing Tom Rooney in 2019. Before his congressional role, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Bradenton, Florida in 1978, he currently resides in Sarasota and holds degrees from the University of Florida.
