Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida's 17th district, shared a series of tweets addressing political violence and expressing gratitude for educators. His posts cover serious allegations about the FBI and a tribute to teachers.

On May 6, 2025, Congressman Steube highlighted findings related to James Hodgkinson. He stated that "Also found on Hodgkinson were maps of Washington, D.C. While the FBI acknowledged he had a list of several House Republicans, it hid the fact that he also listed their office addresses and physical descriptions of their height, weight, and appearance—several of whom".

In another tweet on the same day, Steube emphasized his stance against political violence and bias within federal agencies. He remarked "(8/8) Make no mistake. Political violence has no place in America. And bias and favoritism have no place in the FBI. It’s time to hold the Deep State accountable to make sure this never happens again." The congressman provided a link for further reading on the matter.

Later that afternoon, Steube turned his attention to Teacher Appreciation Day with a message recognizing educators' contributions. He expressed appreciation by stating "Today we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day. Thank you to the educators who invest their time and talents in our children."

Congressman Greg Steube has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Tom Rooney. Born in Bradenton, Florida in 1978, he resides in Sarasota and holds degrees from the University of Florida.
