Congressman Greg Steube, a Representative for Florida’s 17th district since 2019, has been vocal about several community and national issues on social media. On multiple occasions, he has used his platform to address matters ranging from local government discussions to national policy debates.

In a tweet from April 16, 2025, Steube expressed his gratitude for being part of a panel discussion hosted by Leadership Sarasota on Government Day. He stated, "Thank you to Leadership Sarasota for hosting today’s Government Day panel. I am grateful for the work of our community leaders in Sarasota and appreciated the opportunity to discuss with them the issues facing our community." This reflects his ongoing engagement with local leadership in Sarasota, where he currently resides.

On April 17, 2025, Steube addressed the defense of women's sports and the protection of Title IX in Maine. He tweeted, "Thank you @AGPamBondi for defending women’s sports and standing up for what is right. The DOJ is fighting to save Title IX in Maine from the woke mob. See you in court, @GovJanetMills." Steube publicly acknowledged former Attorney General Pam Bondi's efforts and issued a challenge to Maine Governor Janet Mills.

In a subsequent tweet the same day, Steube commented on the activities of Communist China, expressing concerns over its impact on the United States. He stated, "Let’s get this straight: Communist China is buying up U.S. farmland, spreading propaganda in our schools, and rigging trade to hurt American workers. China exploits our system, steals our technology, and floods our markets to wipe out American jobs. Free markets only work when" Congressman Steube's assertion underscores his apprehension towards foreign influence and economic threats to American jobs.

Greg Steube, born in 1978 in Bradenton, Florida, holds degrees from the University of Florida and has been involved in politics since serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. He resides in Sarasota, where he maintains active involvement in district matters.
