Greg Steube, a Congressman representing Florida's 17th district, has recently expressed his views on various economic and political issues through social media. His comments highlight concerns about international trade, fiscal policy, and economic performance.

On March 11, 2025, Congressman Steube addressed the issue of new tariffs imposed by China on U.S. farm goods. He stated: "China just slapped new tariffs on U.S. farm goods, escalating their economic warfare on American agriculture. Meanwhile, they continue to flood our markets with pest-laden citrus." Steube urged Congress to pass his proposed legislation titled the U.S. Citrus Protection Act to ban Chinese citrus imports.

Later that day, Steube discussed his conversation with the President regarding a continuing resolution (CR). He mentioned: "I spoke with @POTUS earlier today. Voting for a CR goes against every bone in my body, but I am placing my full trust in the President’s long-term commitment to getting our fiscal house in order." He criticized the previous Congress for imposing constraints on the current administration.

On March 12, 2025, Steube commented on recent economic data related to inflation under President Trump's influence: "THE TRUMP EFFECT: February’s inflation report marks another win for our economy, with the consumer price index dropping to 2.8%—outperforming expectations." He praised the administration's efforts in contributing to America's economic recovery.
