Congressman Greg Steube, representing Florida's 17th district, recently shared his perspectives on several national issues through a series of tweets. Known for his firm stance on various policies, Steube addressed topics ranging from foreign aid to immigration and daylight saving time.

On March 6, 2025, Steube expressed strong opposition to U.S. financial support for Hezbollah via Lebanon’s government. He tweeted that "The US DOES NOT owe Hezbollah a paycheck." He criticized Lebanon's government for allowing terrorist activities while receiving funds from Washington and highlighted his PAGER Act aimed at halting this financial flow.

Later that day, Steube praised President Trump's border policies in another tweet. On March 6, 2025, he noted the rapid effects of these policies within the first 50 days of Trump's second term. He contrasted this with what he described as inaction by the previous administration in December 2023 when "Joe Biden and Kamala Harris stood idly by while 250,000 illegal migrants entered the United States."

On March 7, 2025, Steube turned his attention to the issue of daylight saving time. He advocated for making it permanent to benefit Floridians and others affected by biannual clock changes. In his tweet, he claimed that such a change would "improve road safety, reduce crime, and boost the economy." Reflecting on his efforts in Florida since 2018 to address this issue.
