Congressman Greg Steube, who has represented Florida's 17th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared his views on significant national issues through a series of tweets. Steube, a University of Florida graduate with both a BS and JD, previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016.

On January 27, 2025, Congressman Steube acknowledged International Holocaust Remembrance Day by honoring "the six million Jews and countless others murdered in the Holocaust." He emphasized the importance of standing against antisemitism and expressed solidarity with Jewish communities "Amid a troubling rise in antisemitism, we stand firmly with our Jewish brothers and sisters, united against hatred..."

Later that day, Steube commented on a Seattle judge's decision to block President Trump's executive order aimed at ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens. He stated that "Citizenship should be a privilege, not a reward for illegal entry," highlighting his stance on immigration policy "Addressing this loophole is key to securing our borders and protecting U.S. sovereignty."

On January 28, 2025, Steube supported statements made by the Press Secretary regarding border security. He tweeted that crossing borders illegally is unequivocally a crime and commended President Trump for prioritizing law enforcement ".@PressSec is spot on : Crossing our borders illegally is a crime, plain and simple."
