City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
The weekend has arrived, but our debris collection crews are still hard at work collecting storm debris. Crews will be working on some of the City's main roadways to clear debris and try to bring them back to pre-Ian status. Please exercise patience and caution when traveling in these areas.
