City Of Sarasota, FL issued the following announcement on Oct. 07.
City of Sarasota to Resume Normal Recycling Collection on Monday October 10th.
The Processing Center to which the City of Sarasota delivers recyclable materials will be back in full operations this weekend allowing the City of Sarasota to resume its normal collection of recycling carts.
Please make sure the placement of the cart is at least 3 feet away from any storm debris pile or other obstacle that would prohibit the collection by our automated trucks. We thank you for your patience as we work through operational constraints caused by Hurricane Ian.
