City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Aug. 22.
If you're a kid aged 14-17 in high school, we want you to get involved with City business! Our City has advisory boards covering different City-related topics. The boards consist of residents interested in the topic, but we also need a youth perspective. This is a great resume builder or something to add to college applications.
You can see the boards looking for members below. The term would be for one year, with possible reappointment if you're still in the age limit and in high school. Visit www.CityOfNorthPort.com/Advisory, and scroll down to apply and fine out more information about the boards.
