City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.
We are currently in search of new members to join our Historic and Cultural Advisory Board. We know we have many folks in the City which are passionate about the history of our young City.
The historic and cultural advisory board shall serve as an information resource to and advise the city commission on ways to protect, conserve, preserve, enhance, and raise public awareness of the city's historic and cultural resources.
