City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Jul 26.
It's summer, and with the typical summer time rain comes a lot of yardwork. Solid Waste will collect your properly prepared yard waste as part of your normal collection. Items that are longer than 4 feet or heavier than 35 pounds will need to be scheduled as a bulk collection ahead of your collection day.
Additionally, yard waste totes are available for a one-time fee of $100. Please call Public Works Customer Service at 941-240-8050 if you are interested in a yard waste tote.
