Congratulations to Miss Duyn, our Literacy Teacher of the Year!
Miss Duyn is an exceptional educator with a special skill set to enhance the love of all things literacy, especially if Harry Potter is involved!
Over the last few years, Grace has completed trainings and self-study to refine her instructional repertoire in ELA. Her hard work is having an impact with her student performance at school and within the community. ELA performance data for her students is moving in the right direction and two students placed first place in essay contests that have been sponsored within our community. As the grade 5 LLC rep, Miss Duyn collaborates with K-4 colleagues to support literacy throughout our campus. She also supports our school community by serving as the contact for Instructional Technology Outreach and Learning Management Systems.
Miss Duyn is most certainly part of what makes it so GREAT to be a Garden Gator!!
