The City of North Port hopes you’ll take some time today to recognize World Water Day, March 22, 2022.
When we think of our groundwater resources that make our lives, health, and our economy possible, it’s important to also be mindful of conservation and sustainability. Water is our most precious and valuable resource; we cannot live without it! North Port is surrounded by beautiful, pristine waterways that deserve our celebration and care today and every day! As we grow as a community, we focus on being good stewards of our water resources so that they are safe, clean, and available for generations to come.
Let’s take this day to recognize the importance of groundwater in our lives, “Making the invisible, visible!” Just because it’s out of sight, doesn’t mean it out of mind. We’d love to hear about some of the ways you conserve our water resources!
