CITY OF VENICE: Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

City Of Venice recently issued the following announcement.

Join us on Fat Tuesday, March 1st for Mardi Gras in Downtown Venice! The party kicks off at 4pm on Miami Avenue West at the Merchants of Venice Building parking lot. Put on your Mardi Gras mask, enjoy live music and get a snapshot in our photo booth. Follow along behind the New Orleans style “second line” brass band as it makes its way from Miami Avenue to West Venice Avenue stopping to play at 10+ locations. The celebration continues at after parties at Made in Italy and Daiquiri Deck. “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” Let the good times roll!

MIAMI AVENUE- MERCHANTS OF VENICE BUILDING PARKING LOT

4-6pm- Parking Lot Party, 200 Miami Avenue, live music by Kit M. Jones sponsored by The Island Bookshop and Mothers Cupboard Spice Shoppe

4-5pm– ChuckO the Clown

4-6pm- Photo booth

5:30pm- Peace, Love & Hoopiness hula hoop show

From 5pm-7pm starting on Miami Avenue, then heading to West Venice Avenue
