City Of Venice issued the following announcement on Feb 08.
Have you visited the Venice Museum & Archives lately? In addition to ongoing exhibits on Venice history, check out the 2 latest seasonal exhibits -- "Life on the Venice Army Air Base - The Vaughan Pitman Collection" and "Venice Area African American History - Over 100 Years in the Making."
The museum also has a unique gift shop with fantastic items at every price point, including books on area history and shelling, jewelry, John Nolen Plan maps, historical DVDs, notecards and large shark's teeth!
Come check out the VMA at 351 Nassau St. S. near the Venice Community Center and Venice Library; open M-W 10-4 and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, October-April 11-3. Admission is always free.
