Good evening Pirate families,
I hope you are enjoying our short taste of winter, though it sure was nice to see the sun this afternoon. It is a busy week with two big events. First is Celebrate Literacy week. I have included a flyer which highlights activities for literacy week. These include our spirit week as well and themed day. Check them out or look on our Facebook page for information.
Next is jog-a-thon, the penny wars are in full swing as we prepare to run this Friday. Please see below for other important information:
•Friends and family can donate on line- here’s the link to email to families- https://pledgestar.com/fruitville/ It is also on the envelope that was sent home.
•Penny Wars continue through Friday Jan. 28. The cart will be located in the cafeteria with a jug for each ship color. Pennies add to the total and silver and bills deduct.
•Volunteers- we are able to have 2 volunteers per class. Here’s the link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4eada62aa5f85-jogathon
•Time and Track- Teachers will take their class to the track where they will meet their specials teacher. Classes will run for 30 minutes.
