City Of North Port issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.
We are extending the Greenest Citizen Award voting to Friday, February 11. Do you know someone who is a steward of the earth? How about someone who goes the extra mile to take care of our city and the environment? Visit shorturl.at/jxGHV to submit your vote by February 11.
The winner will be recognized at a special commission meeting and plant a tree with last years' Greenest Citizen Barbara Lockhart.
