City Of Sarasota issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.
KUDOS - "They say it takes 10 positives to overcome one negative, so hopefully there will be many other citizens who will take the time to recognize how well your department is run..." Bravo to our professional Building Division on providing outstanding customer service!

“I am writing to express gratitude and appreciation for some excellent service I have received from your department.
In the past few years, I have applied for several permits at my property…and have received nothing but friendly, professional, and efficient service from your team. I know most people write to complain, but the level of help and service I have received really deserves a few minutes of my time, just to say thank you….
In particular I'd like to mention Mark Petz, whom I have never met, but sure seems to be a kind gentleman, very professional, and has been very, very helpful along the way.
