Garden Elementary School issued the following announcement on Nov. 02.
Each year, our Garden Elementary School community celebrates Veterans Day so we may honor and recognize our Veterans.
This year we will broadcast a special video presentation on Garden Television following the KNN Newscast on Thursday, November 11th. Students in grades K-5 are learning patriotic songs for the presentation.
We’d like to seek your support so we may honor and celebrate Veterans who have a connection to our school family. If you’d like to participate, please see the details below and send us photos of Veterans you’d like for us to feature in our presentation on November 11th.
Please submit photos of your Veteran friends or family members so that we may honor them in our video.
Email photos to GardenVeteransDay@gmail.com.
Please include the Veteran’s name and military branch in the email.
If the photo includes a Garden student with your Veteran, even better!
