Good evening McIntosh Middle families, this is your Proud Principal McHenry Lerebours with some important announcements,
As your Principal, I believe it is important that you are aware of the positivity rate in COVID cases at your school community. To date, we have had 19 positive cases that we have had to contact trace for, and three positive cases reported today. This means that we have quarantined 253 students since August 10th.
Please be reminded that the school board voted that all school board employees and students are required to wear a mask during the school day. If your student is unable to wear a mask, please complete and return the medical exemption form, signed by your student's physician. Again, our number one goal is to provide a safe learning environment and the very best education for all students.
Our amazing PTO is sponsoring a Back to School Spirit Night at the PDQ located at 5164 S. Tamiami Trail. Please come out and support our PTO tomorrow evening from 5-9 pm. When placing an order for take-out, dine-in, or drive-thru, tell them that you are with McIntosh Middle School and PDQ will donate 20% of the proceeds to your school.
