On September 8, 2025, Steube posted a statement regarding the conduct of the Biden administration. He wrote: "During the Biden administration, America was without a functioning chief executive. A group of nameless, faceless, and unelected bureaucrats were affixing his signature to thousands of pardons, documents, and orders without his permission. Two days later on September 10, Steube shared an update about meeting with leadership from a prominent children’s hospital. He stated: "Great to meet with the President of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital this week. I am thankful for the work they do with their outpatient care facility in Sarasota and appreciate the opportunity to discuss ways we can improve patient service in Florida’s 17th District. https://t.co/OcN7Nok8Ti".
Later that same day, he publicly expressed support for Charlie Kirk by posting: "Please join me in praying for @charliekirk11, we command miraculous healing on his body in Jesus name and we stand, as a nation, against this work of the enemy. Charlie is a patriot whose contributions and impact on the America First movement have impacted countless students".
Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital operates an outpatient care facility in Sarasota serving families within Florida's 17th Congressional District.
Steube has represented Florida's 17th district since 2019 following his prior service as a state legislator.
