Cardinal Mooney High School issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School is pleased to announce the addition of Drew Mitchell as the new assistant athletic director for the Cougars. Mitchell has over 20 years of experience in athletics management and physical education and will be working directly with Athletic Director Larry Antonucci.
“Drew Mitchell emerged as the lead candidate for our assistant AD position because of his experience in developing student-athletes and his knowledge of coordinating athletic events. We are looking forward to having him join our team and hit the ground running,” said Athletic Director Larry Antonucci.
“I am honored to be a part of such a storied athletic program that is rich in tradition and success. It is my hope to help mentor these students, both in the athletic and spiritual arena, so that when they leave Cardinal Mooney, they will create their own lifelong legacy,” said Drew Mitchell.
